Workshops for young people with M.E.

March 02, 2021

Our Breaking Isolation workshops are an exciting opportunity for children and young people who have M.E. to get to know each other and take part in fun games and creative activities.

Our aim is to support young people taking part to feel more confidence talking about M.E. and how it affects them in a safe and understanding environment. One 15-year-old participant from the winter series of workshops told us:

"This has really helped me feel less alone in my experiences."

Registration is now open for workshops in March for those aged eight to 14 years, and workshops in April for 15 to 18 year olds.

If you are under 16, we will require your parent/guardian permission to attend (there is a space for this on the registration form).

Workshops are co-facilitated by other young people with M.E. and two Action for M.E. staff members, and designed to be fun and not demanding, with breaks built in.
