Our Forum is a very friendly and safe space, fully moderated by other young people with ME. If you haven't yet registered for the Forum yet, you can do that here (it's free!). Pop the drop-in time and date in your calendar, and hope to see you there!
Our drop ins usually involve fun games and quizzes, as well as having time for real-time online chat with other Forum users who understand what it’s like to live with ME.
We will share dates of upcoming forum drop-ins on this page, our socials, and in our Young People's Community monthly e-newletter, Cheers.
To join our drop-ins, you need to be a member of our Young People's Community which is absolutely free. Find out more and register today.
Our final Breaking Isolation workshop this spring is for young people with ME aged 14 to 18 years. This will be hosted by Keely, our Family Services Coordinator and Grace, one of our brilliant young volunteers who regularly runs paper flower-making workshops online.
We will guide you through making your own paper lavender and daisies in a calm, welcoming, online space. The workshop is designed so you can craft at your own pace. There’ll be plenty of time to chat freely if you’d like, and you might learn a little more about the botany and folk stories behind the flowers along the way!
Places are on a first come, first served basis, so book your spot today. We will ask for your address so we can send you a craft kit in advance, you just need to bring a pair of scissors on the day.
The workshop will be 1.5 hours from 3.30pm to 5pm on Thursday 18 June. There is a ten-minute break half way through but please take breaks at any other point as needed.Â
We need parents’ consent for anyone under 16 taking part, and there is space to add this on the booking form. There is also space to add additional requirements/needs, and there is more information on the booking form about accessibility.Â
We are working very hard at securing funding for future Breaking Isolation workshops for all age groups. Please keep an eye out on this page and socials for updates.
