The Big Give Christmas Challenge is the UK’s biggest online match funding campaign. Match funding is when donations made to a charity are doubled or ‘matched’ by funding from another source – in this case, some of our key individual supporters and The Reed Foundation.
During Big Give Week any donation between £1 and £25,000 made through our Big Give campaign page on the Big Give website will be doubled.
Big Give week runs from noon on Tuesday 2nd December to noon on Tuesday 9th December 2025.
The Big Give is a non-profit platform that allows charities to raise funds for good causes. They charge a small processing fee to cover the incurred cost of processing donations. This standard fee is deducted from the donation before it is paid to the charity.
There is also the option to leave a voluntary tip, which helps Big Give to cover the costs of running and improving the platform. There is no obligation to leave a tip.
