Did you attend the Learn about M.E. webinar?

March 30, 2022

Were you one of the many who attended the Learn about M.E. Social Care webinar on M.E./CFS & Long Covid? If you were unable to attend, you will be pleased to know that we have shared the recording taken from the webinar on our YouTube channel. So, you can tune in or share with your selected health professional.

The webinar was hosted by Dr Nina Muirhead, a Specialty Doctor in Dermatology Surgery in the NHS. Nina became unwell with M.E. in 2016 and used her experience to work in partnership to create a CPD module; the module focused on M.E./CFS was tailored to GPs and allied health professionals. Through our work on Learn about M.E., the CPD module is now complemented by our Learn about M.E. podcast series. The aim was for this webinar to further support and complement the existing learning material.

At the end of the webinar, our poll revealed that 88% of those who attended felt they were more confident in understanding the care and management strategies for people with M.E./CFS and Long Covid. One user left a piece of gratitude for our team of presenters

"I am reaching out to say BIG thank you for the great seminar that I had the pleasure to attend today. Very informative and helpful to understand better people living with ME/CFS, their abilities/ needs and their limitations

If you want to increase your knowledge and understanding of M.E./CFS and Long Covid, don’t forget you can watch the recording of our webinar here. Alternatively, if you want to encourage your allied health professional to undertake the CPD module you can download our template letter to send to them.
