Action for M.E. CEO, Sonya Chowdhury, recently spoke to Alexis Conran on The Times Radio about the delays to the release of the Delivery Plan on ME/CFS and the lack of awareness and understanding surround the condition that still exists within the medical community.

The interview was held ahead of the inquest into the passing of Maeve Boothby-O'Neill. Maeve, who had Severe ME, died aged 27, in October 2021 and the inquest will be attempt to determine whether different clinical decisions relating to her care may have saved her life, with the NHS coming under increasing scrutiny regarding its care of patients with Severe ME.
