We are pleased to announce that Alison Hume MP as the latest member of our Parliamentary Champions network!
Speaking on joining our network, Alison said:
“I am proud to become a Parliamentary Champion for Action for ME to support people living with the illness. Too many people living with ME, like my own constituent, Debbie Seymour, who is severely unwell and without adequate support, are being failed by a lack of understanding, care pathways, and scientific progress. I’m committed to working with colleagues across Parliament and with organisations like Action for ME to ensure this illness receives the research funding, clinical attention, and public awareness it urgently deserves.”
We look forward to working with Alison and the rest of our Champions to ensure that people affected by ME get the support they need.
