The LOCOME Project, a collaboration between PrecisionLife, Action for ME, and the University of Edinburgh, is nearing completion at the end of November.
LOCOME aims to improve understanding of the biological mechanisms that underpin Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) and long Covid. The project has used large-scale data analysis to explore genetic patterns that could help identify similarities and differences between the two conditions.
A webinar will be held on Monday 24 November at 3pm (UK time) to share the project’s final findings and discuss next steps. The session will include presentations and discussion from:
The panel will outline key results from the LOCOME study, including insights into potential biological pathways, future research priorities, and lived experience perspectives.
The webinar is open to anyone with an interest in ME or long Covid, including people with lived experience, carers, clinicians, and researchers.
