There are lots of different options available when it comes to choosing a platform to use and so it can feel a little overwhelming when you're just getting started!

Creating Your Page

We've also created this handy guide - Make Your Fundraising Page Shine, full of hints and tips for creating an impactful fundraising page.

You can either fundraise entirely offline, or add offline donations to your online fundraising page.

You can pay offline donations directly to us - just head over to this page.

Yes, you can.

You can either pay offline donations directly to us - just head over to this page.

Or you can add the money raised to your online page. Both JustGiving and Enthuse have guides to help you through this process:

You can send us the money you've raised in the following ways:

  • Set up an online fundraising page on JustGiving or Enthuse,(more info above), and link it to our charity profile.  All donations through this page will automatically be sent to Action for ME.
  • Pay donations directly to us using your debit/credit card- just head over to this page.
  • If you would prefer to make a bank transfer, contact our Fundraising team who can give you details on how to do this. Email fundraising@actionforme.org.uk or call 0117 927 9551 (choose the option for fundraising)

Charity fundraising is regulated by law and you need to ensure your fundraising is both legal and safe.  All fundraising in aid of Action for ME must be legal, open, honest and respectful, and must not bring the charity into disrepute.

Full guidelines are available from the Chartered Institute of Fundraising (www.ciof.org.uk).

The Fundraising Regulator has created a Code of Fundraising Practice which outlines the responsibilities that apply to fundraising both by charities and their third-party fundraisers.

If you have any questions please do get in touch with our helpful Fundraising team.

We have created a useful guide to help you understand your responsibilities as an Action for ME fundraiser.
