Would you like to support other young people affected by M.E?

Our Young People's Forum is here for anyone with M.E. aged up to and including 18, and a great way for young people to talk to others of the same age who have M.E.

The forum is kept safe by a dedicated group of Volunteer Peer Support Moderators who chat, provide support and signpost to helpful resources - and we are looking for young people to join our brilliant team.

If you have enjoyed being part of the Forum, why not think about volunteering as a Peer Moderator?

It is a great way to support a cause you are passionate about, helping other young people to make new friends, whilst picking up lots of soft skills that will build your own confidence. Action for M.E. will provide training and ongoing support to you in your volunteering role.

You will be part of a valued team with other Peer Moderators who volunteer on the Forum. You can volunteer for as much or as little time as you like each week, with the core responsibilities being to keep an eye on Forum posts, be available to answer questions and generally be responsive to those using the Forum.

If you think this is something you might be interested in, please email our Peer-Support Officer Sam to enquire - she would love to hear from you.
