Has your PIP application been delayed?

Did you know we are part of the ME Local Network?

Who are MELN?

The ME Local Network was set up last year to bridge together M.E. friendships and support groups across the UK. The aims of this network include strengthening mutual help between local support groups, sharing information and best practice, ensuring the grassroots voice is heard and feeding back to national charities and organisations.

The network is committed to supporting people with M.E. to give them better support and influence change on local and wider levels. If you belong to a support group and want to be part of the network to drive further change, you can share your details with the ME Local Network Group. The group is run by volunteers, most of whom have M.E. Volunteers are always welcome too.

As part of their campaigning, the MELN is conducting a simple survey on the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) delays. The group are collating numbers of people affected by the delays to lobby MPs and put pressure on the Department of Work and Pensions to resolve the issues. Your experience could help others, so if you're in the process of a new application or renewing your application, the MELN want to hear from you. You have until Saturday 31st December 2022 to share your experiences. Share your experience now.
