Low-energy campaigning

There are lots of low-energy ways you can help support our campaigning work and ensure your voice and experiences are heard by policy-makers.

How you can get involved

We understand that many people with ME are too unwell to get involved in high-energy campaigning activities such as lobbying members of Parliament, responding to government consultations, and taking part in protests, marches and sit-ins.

So we have produced a campaign guide that focuses on low-energy tactics, which can be just as worthwhile.

We also regularly consult with those affected by ME to inform our responses to government consultations - please visit our news section to see the latest.

All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on ME

We provide the joint-Secretariat, with the ME Association, to the APPG on ME.

One of the best ways you can support the APPG and its work in raising vital awareness and understanding of ME within Parliament, is by inviting your local MP to attend the APPG's meetings.

To invite your local MP to the next meeting, you can use the helpful instructions and template we have created, on the APPG's website.

We update this template every time there is a new meeting so you can come back and use it again for future meetings.
