Latest Mindfulness Meditation Session recording now available!

11 September 2026

We are pleased that the recording of our latest Mindfulness Meditation Session is now available on our YouTube channel!

This is the latest recording of one of our September Mindfulness Meditation Session, recorded separately from the online event participants can attend, which are for people with ME or their carers. They are offered by our volunteer, Alice, who is a qualified mindfulness meditation teacher.

In this session, we offer a loving kindness meditation. This ancient type of meditation has been practised for over two and a half thousand years, and its purpose is to cultivate unconditional kindness, compassion and warmth towards yourself and others.

We offer these 45 minute mindfulness sessions once a month as part of our free Support Services and are intended to complement other self-management tools.

Accessing the session may enable some people to improve their ability to deal with the stress of living with a long-term health condition like ME. Mindfulness is not for everyone and is only one part of the picture for anyone wanting to manage the symptoms of ME.

Feedback from previous session participants include;

“It was so relaxing. Helped me relax after a really bad week.”

“I’m feeling very heavy in my body and calmer than I did.”

If you would like to join us in on of our monthly sessions, register your interest by contacting avril.mclean@actionforme.org.uk.
