This #FundraisingFriday we're celebrating the successes of the Ink Cartridge Recycling Scheme!
In particular, we wanted to say a huge thank you to Danny Redhead, the Winterton and District Lions, Winterton Medical Practice, and Biffa!
August marked the end of the fourth year of the scheme and Biffa generously matched the year four total of £640!
That means, over the last four years, an incredible £3,400.60 has been raised to help support our work, with approximately 70kg of ink cartridges being recycled at the same time!
Boxes remain at Burton and Winterton Medical Practice to recycle your cartridges so please keep popping them in the box!
The scheme can receive all inkjet cartridges from home printers (branded or unbranded), original branded toners only, and money can even be raised from your unwanted unused cartridges too.
